* Reading the existing codes from your car computer.
* Dumping those codes into your PC
* Grabbing new codes that you input into your PC
* Programming your car with those new codes.
this product has a split personality. The hardware is well designed (despite a proprietary data cable), and does its job of reading from, and writing to, the ECU quickly, we love being able to just click the different icon for summer or winter wheels right on the unit itself. This will make future seasonal wheel changes much more palatable.
The VT55 OBDII triggers all newly mounted TPMS sensors, reprograms the vehicle’s ECU and turns the warning light off. The VT55 OBDII uses the relearn option of the vehicle ECU software, if available, or uses the OBD connector whenever required. ATEQ’s VT55 OBDII decodes the sensor data and ensures that the correct Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor is being read and that the RF transmission isn’t coming from key fobs or other sensors.
