  Thanks again for your help. The main differences between the two you suggested as far as I can tell is the interface is smaller. Also it doesn’t appear to come with all the extra cables. So I guess that means no older cars right? Which isn’t a problem for me because I don’t plan on working on older cars. What does licensing or doing online programming through the Mercedes database cost? Do you have to have access to that or is the scanner capable of most things without it?

  MB STAR C6 doesn’t support older cars, so it doesn’t come with those cables for older benz.
  C6 is good for new cars.
  At present, we don’t have the online service for benz C6.
  if you have online account, you can do online programming with our tool.
  If you don’t have it, you can use DTS software to do offline programming.
