\n<\/b><\/strong>1.Release VCDS 25.3<\/a> works with Windows 7, 8, and 10\u00a0(both 32-bit and 64-bit)<\/b><\/strong>
\n1.1 Earlier versions of Windows such as 2000, XP, and Vista might still work, but we no longer consider them supported.
\n1.2 VCDS does not work on \u201cWindows 10 S\u201d, which does not allow software to be installed from any source other than the Microsoft Store. If wish to use VCDS on a computer with this \u201cStudent\u201d version of Windows, you\u2019ll need to upgrade it to Windows 10 Pro.
\n1.3 Windows running in a VM (Parallels, Virtual Box, etc) may work but is not supported.
\n1.4 Windows 95, 98, ME, and NT4 definitely will not work.<\/p>\n

2.Release 25.3 must be used with a licensed Ross-Tech interface.\u00a0\u00a0That include all genuine HEX-, KEY-, KII-, or Micro-CAN series Interface of interfaces.<\/b><\/strong>
\n<\/b><\/strong>2.1 It does\u00a0not\u00a0work with any third-party interfaces or some of the older \u201clow-tech\u201d interfaces we made and sold before 2004.
\n2.2 If you\u2019re a registered user and have an older low-tech interface, you should consider\u00a0ross tech\u00a0interface.
\n2.3 If you\u2019re not ready for an interface upgrade, you\u2019ll have to use\u00a0VCDS-Lite\u00a0instead.<\/p>\n

3.The default installation folder is C:\\Ross-Tech\\VCDS\\<\/b><\/strong>
\nIt is essential NOT to install in the \\Program Files\\ tree in on systems running Windows Vista or newer.<\/p>\n

4.To remove other old versions:<\/b><\/strong>
\n4.1 Versions prior to Release 704, simply delete the shortcuts from your Start menu and Desktop and delete the folder(s) where the program was installed..
\n4.2 Release 704 and newer may be uninstalled using Windows\u2019 Add\/Remove Programs or by running the uninstall.exe program found in the folder with the version that you wish to remove.<\/p>\n
