How to use GM MDI and SPS to Program Chevrolet Tahoe 2016 Remote Key<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tutorial:<\/strong> GM key programming using GM Scan Tool<\/a> and SPS (Service Programming System) online subscription.
\nModel example:<\/strong>
\nChevrolet Tahoe 2016
\n(the procedure can be applied to other GMs)
\nTools needed:
\nA GM scanner (GM MDI<\/a>, GM MDI 2<\/a>, VXDIAG GM<\/a>)
\nGM Online SPS programming subscription
\nOriginal remote and a new remote key (add a remote)
\nProcedure:

\nAfter connect MDI2 interface and built connection

\nAccess SPS programming
\n\"gm-key-programming-sps-2\"<\/a>
\nSelect vehicle model: Chevrolet Tahoe 2016 Light duty truck
\nCommunicating with the GM MDI

\nDetect VIN and enter job card number to access
\n(There is a field activation for this vehicle)

\nSelect controller: Keyless Entry Control Module and press Next

\nSelect special function: Program Transponder or Remote Key (Add key)
\nTurn off all power consuming components after each ignition cycle.

\nInsert next key in the transmitter pocket and press Next
\nPlace all other keys outside of the vehicle

\nWait it counts down from 12 mins to 0

\nAll transponder keys have to be synchronized with the vehicle.

\n1.Remove the key from the transmitter pocket
\n2.Press the Lock button on key
\n3.Press the Unlock button on key and press Next

\nStarts to program next key
\nInsert next key in the transmitter pocket and press Next

\nWait 5 seconds

\nFollow steps below to sync key
\n1.Remove the key from the transmitter pocket
\n2.Press the Lock button on key
