Note: The operation steps of Mercedes-Benz W220 require unplugging \/ disconnecting OBD pins 3, 8 and 11 from OBD port, which can avoid communication problems.<\/p>\n

It needs to be connected with the powertrain CAN. Connect CH to green \/ white and CL to green solid cable. Connect CH and CL of car to pins 3-11 of DS-Box. All cables can be found under the plastic on the driver \u2019s side.<\/p>\n

Using the needle pinch connectors,the solid red wire is terminal 30.It is connected to Terminal 15(red\/pink) via flip switch.<\/p>\n

The flip switch is used to turn ignition ON once prompted by the software.<\/p>\n

Terminal 30 is separated and a fuse connector is installed.<\/p>\n

Run Abrites Diagnostics software for Mercedes Benz,select \u201cOBDII\u201d cable type-connection<\/p>\n

Go to the Special Functions and open the DAS Manager<\/p>\n

Start off by reading the EZS<\/p>\n

Select \u201cGet EZS Pass\u201d<\/p>\n

Select \u201cIR-Adapter and Fuse-Relay\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Insert the IR-Adapter in the EZS<\/p>\n

Connect OBDII pins 3+11 to the internal ECU CAN bus.Activate term. 15 of the EZS.ESM fuse should be disconnected.<\/p>\n

Keep the key in the ignition.<\/p>\n

Term.15 should be active.ESM fuse should be disconnected.<\/p>\n

The connections to the PT CAN were previously done,only the ESM has to be disconnected.<\/p>\n

Its fuse is to be found under the fuse-box on the left side of the engine compartment.<\/p>\n

The ESM Fuse 37(15A) is to be removed<\/p>\n

Connect terminal 30 to terminal 15 using the switch<\/p>\n

Once all the preparations are done,the procedures will start<\/p>\n

A key can be programmed now using \u201cProg\/Emulate Key\u201d,then click \u201cProgram\u201d

Select a position to program key(not used)<\/p>\n

A TA14 Abrites key is used for the programming<\/p>\n
