Engine Removal Steps:

1.Place the machine in the service position C.

2.Turn off the battery disconnect switch.

3.Drain the coolant in a collection container.

4.Drain the hydraulic oil in a collection container.

5.Release the pressure in the air compressed system by pushing up a valve on the air tank.

6.Remove engine room under cover.

7.Remove the muffler hood, radiator hood and the engine room rear cover

8.Remove the engine room cowl frame with the engine hood using a lifting device.

9.Remove expansion tank

10.Remove the clamps and then remove the charge air cooler tube and the radiator hoses.

11.Disconnect the sensor and the air inlet hose.

12.Remove air drier hoses.

13.Remove air drier sensor cable.

14.Remove AdBlue®/DEF nozzle hoses.

15.Remove AdBlue®/DEF harness clamp in the pump room.

16.Remove pipe clamp in the pump room.

17.Remove Air hose and AdBlue®/DEF hose clamp in the pump room.

18.Remove pump room cover.

19.Remove muffler mounting plate fixing screws.

20.Remove Muffler with mounting plate.

21.Disconnect the hoses from the P.T.O (power take off) pump.

22.Remove hydraulic main pump

23.Remove the screws on the engine oil filter housing.

24.Disconnect the connectors from the fuel filter housing.

25.Remove clamp on the engine oil filter hose.

26.Disconnect the fuel line hoses.

NOTE!

Ports must be plugged after disassembling hoses.

27.Disconnect the compressed air line hoses.

28.Loosen the tension of the air conditioner compressor belt and then remove the belt.

29.Disconnect the connector.
Remove the compressor and lay it down on the frame.
Do not disconnect or loosen connections for the air conditioning unit (AC). Risk of gas leakage.

30.Disconnect the ground cable.

31.Remove the charge air cooler hose.

32.Remove the radiator hose.

33.Disconnect the cab heater hose on the engine block.

34.Remove the AdBlue®/DEF coolant hoses.

35.Disconnect the starter motor wire harness.

36.Remove the hose from the air pressure regulator.

37.Remove the clamps and cover.

38.Disconnect the connectors and clamp.

39.Remove the six mounting screws.

40.Lift the engine just a little using a lifting device, and after confirming safety around, lift it up and out slowly to the work stand.
